This type of fireplace/install is quite common for us. Building your perfect fireplace and installing your desired heater/fire is what we specialise at. In this particular install the house was 2 story and we couldn’t run the flue through the above floor.
We had to build a bulk head so we could run the flue horizontally to the external wall. To make it all look symmetrical we also built a bulk head on the opposite side. Once all the framing and install was complete, all electrical first fix was done including some extra lighting. Framework and bulkheads were sheeted and flushed and new skirtings installed, all ready for the painters.Once painted, the heater was commissioned and the fascia installed ready for use.
