HEATER INSTALLATION

LEABROOK RESIDENCE

This particular install is one our favourites, turning this plain brick wall into a beautiful fireplace that the owners can slow burn all winter keeping their house cosy.
To begin with we had to install the heater into the desired position. From here the lower base was bricked up ready to lay the floating concrete hearth. The hearth was formed out up and poured and finished with a beautiful honed affect. Once the hearth was set and protected we continued the brickwork to the desired height also adding a wood storage to the right side. We then sealed up the top of the construction and installed the required ventilation into the fireplace. From here the flue was installed.
The stone veneer was the next step. This was a tedious job as each piece was individually picked and laid but we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Under the hearth an LED lighting strip was installed which really sets the ambiance on those cold winter days.
